As always, a wonderful representation! The stalactites and stalagmites, with their subtle blue and yellow coloring as well as the darker hazes really help the scene look great!

I appeciate your comments on my "Mysterious Galactic Legends " image. This is one of my older acrylic on stretched canvas pieces. Unfortunately, photographs rarely capture the atmosphere intended by artists. Actually nothing can truly replace direct viewing of such art.

- Thanks for the comment, Drew. Rather than the usual rocky, barren, planet, I wanted to paint a typicallly Earthlike pastoral scene with the lake, soft rounded hills, and local fauna grazing on local flora. Suddenkly a ship comes tearing in across the sky and sonic booms all over the place. - Hence the title.
