Thanks for the comment on "Galileo-Study" Jackie. The design can be a bit confusing without a little description, I'm glad you found it clarifying. Allen is a great guy. as well as a consummate hard SF author. I worked with him a little on the practicalities of this ship. As far as SF these days, sadly, it seems to have mostly gone to fantasy or metaphysics (the same thing?)
Thanks for your comments on `Aquae Vitae`, Jackie. I suppose I could say that the living quarters are a temporary construction of self inflating domes, but the real reason they are there is that there appeared to be a hole in the painting which needed filling, hence the domes
The cat, Tara, is one of four we have (And she has just right now jumped up beside me onto my desk.) and they`re the main reason we don`t get to go on holiday together, so we`ll put your kind offer for a wee break on the back burner for the minute.
Funny you should mention boundary disputes, Anna`s brother has also been involved in one, not as extreme as yours, just a silly old dear who though he had erected a fence when he hadn`t. (It was an original boundary fence revealed when a garage was pulled down) . But of course she had to involve lawyers. Anyway I hope you have your`s sorted out. There`s nothing so stress-wearying as neighbourhood disputes.
Anna wants a space-snowman, but I told her she`d just have to wait until next Christmas
