Greetings Julie,
Thank you for your kind comment. I truly appreciate you taking the time to look at my art.
I find your liturgical art most interesting as well as your other images.
Kind regards,
Michael C. Turner
I like this style of art. It brings back to me happy memories of the sort of paintings I use to see on magazine covers and in books when I was young and I would feel that "sense of wonder" that I rarely experience today.
Thank you Micheal for the wonderful comment on my page. I am really happy to be a part of this community, there is so much here for me to learn. From what I have seen the level of ability here is astounding! Thank you again!
We run our own web server. It's where the IAAA site is hosted. Joy Day has her sites there. Lynette Cook is a client, as is Gary Tonge. All of the code is done by myself, by hand, either in a text editor or in Visual Studio. No gallery app, no outside "designer". I'm the designer and the admin of the server. http://spaceart.org/ is the space art community with links to all of our artist's sites.
You may want to check out http://sphericalmagic.com/ as well. It is our main hub for our personal and business sites. Lots of interesting stuff to drive around in.
Thank you, very much. I've been working on the pages for the past two months. Let the updates slide for way too long and hadn't put up any new imagery for longer. Big leap from where I was to now converting everything to CSS. Now, I can get rid of all of those old formatting hacks that I used; only to be replaced with CSS hacks to eliminate the brokenness of IE6. [groan]
I really like the second image in your slide show; the sepia-tone spire-populated surface with the comet in the distance. Very good!
