About SpinSpace VW Gallery, Spike R. MacPhee & Paradox Olbers

SpinSpace Gallery is my Virtual World (VW) art gallery on Spindrift island in the SciLands science continent in Second Life. There, my SL avatar Paradox Olbers is curator for space exploration and astronomical artworks, including a IAAA Wing. Residents of Second Life can buy digital reproductions of many of the artworks to hang in their inworld homes for 0.75 Euros or U$1 each, bringing a new micropayment stream to the artists. Here's the SpinSpace gallery schedule, with links to exhibiting artists' info and my gallery picture sets at flickr.

In RL (real life), I'm Spike MacPhee, onetime owner of Harvard Square's Science Fantasy Bookstore from 1977-89. More info at my blogs and at my LinkedIn page

Congrats on the SL exhibit. The screen grabs I've seen look great.

My SL identity is Khoura Kozlowski. I did try to get Ouranus as my last name but the list didn't have it. I tried to walk around on IYA2009 island to find the IAAA exhibit, but I need some incubation time. Don't have the legs and finesse to walk and talk at the same time. It'll take some adjustment. Some avatar arrived from a cloud, but I didn't know how to "Hi there" as my audio was shut off. Further, I had no idea how to keep from being a spazz in my frenetic gait.

At any rate, I'd like to adjust my avatar so that it resembles me a bit more. Any suggestions? Often even my students amongst countless others often suggest that I look like Einstein, hence my photo here shows that there is no such identity crisis.
